Since I started this substack, four years ago (eep!), I’ve amassed a whole load of stories about individual private detectives, as well as private detective agencies, covering a couple of centuries, and most of the UK. It seemed a shame to just have the posts here, so I’ve been working on producing a book featuring my earlier stories - some expanded, explored in more detail, and with references added (as well as five pages of illustrations). I’ve not gone too recent with the stories, as I hope I’ll be able to add a second volume of tales at some point in the future, so keep reading the substack!
